A Message from Father Roland A. Lajoie, S.M.

Dear visitors to our website, welcome!

The parish of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, formerly Our Lady of Mercy, Ybor City, Tampa, took its name when the new church was built by the Redemptorist Fathers in 1939. The icon of Our Lady of Perpetual Help was installed by the Redemptorist Fathers, who were assigned this icon by the Holy Father. It was installed in the new church and it gave a visible assurance that Our Blessed Mother, Mary is ever ready to be of assistance to all peoples. We, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish, invite you to join us on Wednesday Nights with the Novena to Our Lady of Perpetual Help and welcome you to our weekend masses that you may rejoice in the power of Our Lady’s intercession. She is the Mother of the perpetual and merciful love of Jesus, Her son and our Savior. The parish has been served by Marist Fathers, members of the Society of Mary since 1986. Blessed be the name of Mary Virgin and Mother.
