From the Book of Joshua:
Joshua addressed all the people… “As for me and my household, we will serve the Lord”.
Reflection:
Isn’t Joshua’s testimony what parents at today’s Eucharist are trying to make and set as an example for their children? They hope, when their children become adults, they, like their parents before them, will say, “As for me and my household, we will serve the Lord”.
So, we ask ourselves:
How did my own parents encourage or hinder my life of faith?
What kind of example of faith am I in my family?

Josué se dirigió a toda la gente…”En cuanto a mí y a mi familia, serviremos al Señor”.
Reflexión:
¿No es el testimonio de Josué lo que los padres de familia, en la Eucaristía de hoy, están tratando de hacer y poner como ejemplo para sus hijos?
Esperan que, cuando sus hijos se conviertan en adultos, ellos, al igual que sus padres antes que ellos, dirán: “En cuanto a mí y a mi hogar, serviremos al Señor”.
Por lo tanto, nos preguntamos:
¿Cómo alentaron u obstaculizaron mis propios padres mi vida de fe?
¿Qué tipo de ejemplo de fe soy en mi familia?
