THE IMMACULATE HEART OF MARY CHAPEL
I would like to caution all of you, members of this parish community, about “The Immaculate Heart of Mary Chapel”, so you might avoid being misled. It has been brought to my attention that some parishioners had attended that chapel thinking that it is a Roman Catholic church, but it is not. It is a “schismatic” church, that means a church separated from Rome.
This chapel is located at 2404 Stuart St., Tampa, FL. 33605. The priest in charge appears to be father Emilio Fattore, having as his assistant, father Zarate. They do not recognize the authority of Bishop Gregory Parkes nor the authority of Pope Francis. Our parishioners attending that chapel were looking for a “traditional” church with features like: Mass in Latin, mandatory veil and long dresses for women, kneeling to receive Communion and receiving Communion in the mouth, etc.
You would find interesting that considering the evolution of Covid-19 infections, and being fully vaccinated myself, I am offering to those who do not want to receive the Holy Communion on the palm of their hands, to receiving in the mouth (they should wait until everyone else has received and let me take extra sanitizing precautions).
Another piece of advice to parishioners that prefer the Traditional Latin Mass: you should consider attending one of the Masses offered at Epiphany of Our Lord Parish, in Tampa. They are part of the Roman Catholic Diocese of St. Petersburg and use the approved Mass from the 1962 Missale Romanum.
Even before the Covid pandemic, there were some schismatic “priests” and “bishops” in the area, offering Masses and Sacraments (even the thanksgiving Mass for young ladies turning fifteen years old, or “Quinceañeras”).
The Chancellor of our diocese receives about 4 to 6 inquiries a year concerning children who were baptized in the chapel of the Immaculate Heart of Mary and are now preparing to receive either First Holy Communion or Confirmation. The diocese of St. Petersburg considers those baptisms valid, but those individuals would need to be received into the full communion of the Roman Catholic Church and then receive the other Sacraments of Initiation.

CAPILLA DEL INMACULADO CORAZÓN DE MARÍA
Me gustaría poner en alerta, a todos ustedes, miembros de esta comunidad parroquial, sobre la “Capilla del Inmaculado Corazón de María”, para que eviten ser engañados. Me han informado que algunos feligreses han estado asistiendo a esa capilla, pensando que es una iglesia católica romana, pero no lo es. Es una iglesia “cismática”, es decir, una iglesia separada de Roma.
Esta capilla está ubicada en 2404 Stuart St., Tampa, FL. 33605. El sacerdote a cargo parece ser el padre Emilio Fattore, teniendo como asistente al padre Zárate. Ellos no reconocen la autoridad del obispo Gregory Parkes ni la autoridad del Papa Francisco.
Nuestros feligreses que han asistido a esa capilla andan probablemente buscando una iglesia “tradicional” con características tales como: Misa en latín, velo obligatorio y vestidos largos para las mujeres, arrodillarse para recibir la Comunión y recibir la Comunión en la boca, etc.
Puede resultar interesante para todos ustedes saber que, teniendo en cuenta la evolución de las infecciones por Covid-19, y estando completamente vacunado yo mismo, estoy ahora ofreciendo a aquellos que no quieren recibir la Sagrada Comunión en la palma de sus manos, el recibirla en la boca (sin embargo, deberán esperar hasta que todos los demás hayan pasado a comulgar y dejar que yo tome precauciones adicionales).
Otro consejo, para los feligreses que prefieren la Misa Tradicional Latina: deben considerar asistir a una de las Misas ofrecidas en la Parroquia de la Epifanía de Nuestro Señor, en Tampa. Ellos sí son parte de la Diócesis Católica Romana de San Petersburgo y utilizan la Misa aprobada del Missale Romanum de 1962.
Incluso antes de la pandemia de Covid, ya había algunos “sacerdotes” y “obispos” cismáticos en el área; ofreciendo misas y sacramentos (incluso la misa de acción de gracias para las señoritas que cumplen quince años, o “Quinceañeras”).
El Canciller de nuestra diócesis recibe alrededor de 4 a 6 consultas al año, sobre los niños que fueron bautizados en la capilla del Inmaculado Corazón de María y ahora se están preparando para recibir la Primera Comunión o la Confirmación en otra de nuestras parroquias. La diócesis de San Petersburgo considera que esos bautismos son válidos, pero esos individuos tendrán que ser recibidos en la plena comunión de la Iglesia Católica Romana y luego recibir los otros Sacramentos de Iniciación.
