From today’s Gospel reading
Jesus said to them, “Peace be with you. As the Father has set me, so I send you…” He breathed on them and said to them, ‘Receive the Hoy Spirit’”.
Reflection
We need the Spirit because only the Spirit can gather and hold us together, and also help us to do what Jesus asks us today: to go into the world making disciples of all. Only the Spirit of God and no mere human effort can bring about the spiritual renewal we need. Only the Spirit can stir up a flame among us to make us passionate about God and the desire to spread the word of God’s in the world.
So, we ask ourselves
How am I spreading the word of God’s reign by my words?
How do I spread God’s reign by my actions?
Where do I need to turn to the Spirit for help?

De la lectura del Evangelio de hoy
Jesús les dijo: “La paz esté con ustedes. Como el Padre me ha enviado, así los envío yo…” Sopló sobre ellos y les dijo: ‘Reciban el Espíritu Santo”.
Reflexión
Necesitamos el Espíritu porque sólo el Espíritu puede reunirnos y mantenernos unidos, y también ayudarnos a hacer lo que Jesús nos pide hoy: ir al mundo haciendo a todos sus discípulos. Sólo el Espíritu de Dios, ningún esfuerzo humano, puede producir la renovación espiritual que necesitamos. Sólo el Espíritu puede encender una llama dentro de nosotros mismos para hacernos apasionados por Dios y el deseo de difundir la Palabra de Dios en el mundo.
Entonces, nos preguntamos
¿Cómo estoy difundiendo la Palabra del Reino de Dios con mis palabras?
¿Cómo puedo difundir el Reino de Dios a través de mis acciones?
¿Hacia dónde necesito voltear para buscar la ayuda del Espíritu?
