Many of my priest friends and mentors have shared with me how joyful it is to celebrate Easter (especially the Easter Vigil) as pastor. After celebrating my first Easter as pastor of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, I completely agree. It was such a privilege and a joy to celebrate the Easter Triduum (Holy Thursday, Good Friday, and Easter Sunday) as pastor. On the Easter Vigil (the Saturday evening before Easter Sunday) at 8:30 PM, I had the privilege of Baptizing, Confirming and giving First Holy Communion to our 4 elect at OLPH (Maurizio, Cinthia, Rosanna, and Jonathon). Below are pictures of the Easter Vigil and our elect receiving their Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, Confirmation, and the Eucharist). Pascua de 2026
Muchos de mis amigos y mentores sacerdotes me han contado lo maravilloso que es celebrar la Pascua (especialmente la Vigilia Pascual) como párroco. Después de celebrar mi primera Pascua como párroco de Nuestra Señora del Perpetuo Socorro, estoy totalmente de acuerdo. Fue un gran privilegio y una alegría celebrar el Triduo Pascual (Jueves Santo, Viernes Santo y Domingo de Pascua) como párroco. En la Vigilia Pascual (la noche del sábado anterior al Domingo de Pascua) a las 8:30 p. m., tuve el privilegio de bautizar, confirmar y dar la Primera Comunión a nuestros cuatro elegidos en OLPH (Maurizio, Cinthia, Rosanna y Jonathon). A continuación se muestran fotos de la Vigilia Pascual y de nuestros elegidos recibiendo los sacramentos de iniciación (bautismo, confirmación y eucaristía). ¡Por favor, sigan teniéndolos presentes en sus oraciones mientras emprenden su camino como católicos!
