From today’s Gospel reading:
While they were eating, he took bread…and said, “Take it; this is my body”. Then took a cup…He said to them, “This is my blood of the covenant, which will be shed for many…”
Reflection:
Corpus Christi celebrates Jesus’ gift of himself to us as our spiritual food and drink. This mystery of love is beyond all imagination. Jesus gives himself to us so completely that there is nothing more for him to give.
Action:
At Communion time, when the eucharistic minister holds up the sacred host and says to you, “the Body of Christ”, try to realize, in a special way, what you receive. It is the living body of Jesus. It is the same Jesus who was born in Bethlehem. It is the same Jesus who died on the cross. It is the same Jesus who rose from the dead.

De la lectura del Evangelio de hoy:
Mientras comían, tomó pan… y dijo: “Tomen, este es mi cuerpo”. Luego tomó una copa… Él les dijo: “Esta es mi sangre del pacto, que será derramada por muchos…”
Reflexión:
Corpus Christi celebra el regalo de Jesús a nosotros como nuestro alimento y bebida espirituales. Este misterio de amor está más allá de toda imaginación. Jesús se da a sí mismo a nosotros tan completamente que no hay nada más que pueda dar.
Acción:
En el momento de la Comunión, cuando el ministro de la Eucaristía levante la sagrada hostia y les diga: “el Cuerpo de Cristo”, traten de comprender, de manera especial, lo que van a recibir. Es el cuerpo vivo de Jesús. Es el mismo Jesús que nació en Belén. Es el mismo Jesús que murió en la Cruz. Es el mismo Jesús que resucitó de entre los muertos.
