APPOINTMENTS OF PASTOR AND PAROCHIAL VICAR FOR OLPH
Most Reverend Gregory Parkes, Bishop of the diocese of St. Petersburg has announced twenty-five clergy changes, effective July 1, 2024.
Among those changes, Bishop Parkes has appointed the Reverend Kyle D. Smith, current pastor of St. Mary Parish in Tampa, to be the new Pastor of Our Lady of Perpetual Help. He also appointed the Reverend George A. Gyasi, as a part time Parochial Vicar for OLPH to help with the Hispanic ministry. Father Gyasi will continue as a part-time Parochial Vicar for Resurrection Parish, in Riverview, but living in the rectory of OLPH with Fr. Smith.
I am asking all members of this parish community to welcome your new shepherds with open arms and give them all the support you have given me. But most important, pray God, through the intercession of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, to bless them, personally, with health and well-being and bless abundantly their new ministry.

NOMBRAMIENTOS DE PÁRROCO Y VICARIO PARROQUIAL PARA OLPH
El Reverendísimo Gregory Parkes, obispo de la diócesis de San Petersburgo, ha anunciado veinticinco cambios en el clero, a partir del 1 de julio de 2024.
Entre esos cambios, el obispo Parkes ha nombrado al reverendo Kyle D. Smith, actual párroco de la parroquia de Santa María en Tampa, como nuevo párroco de Nuestra Señora del Perpetuo Socorro. También nombró al Reverendo George A. Gyasi, como Vicario Parroquial, medio tiempo, para la pastoral hispana de esta parroquia. El Padre Gyasi continuará como Vicario Parroquial, de medio tiempo, en la
Parroquia de la Resurrección, en Riverview, pero viviendo en la rectoría de OLPH con el Padre Smith.
Les pido a todos los miembros de esta comunidad parroquial que den una bienvenida a sus nuevos pastores con los brazos abiertos y les brinden todo el apoyo que me han brindado a mí. Pero lo más importante, oren a Dios, a través de la intercesión de Nuestra Señora del Perpetuo Socorro, para que los bendiga, personalmente con salud y bienestar y bendiga su nuevo ministerio abundantemente.
