From today’s Gospel reading
Jesus said to his disciples: “Therefore, if you bring your gifts to the altar, and there recall that your brother (sister) has anything against you, leave your gift at the altar, go first and be reconciled with (them) and then come and offer your gift”.
Reflection
We Christians are called to a different way of living, in our relationships to each other and then to the world. We seek reconciliation where there is anger and alienation. We tame our desires despite the license of the world around us. We are faithful to one another and so, we make promises, we keep them.
So, we ask ourselves
As I come to church today, do I bear any bitterness against someone? What can I do to be reconciled with them?

De la lectura del Evangelio de hoy
Jesús dijo a sus discípulos: “Por lo tanto, si traes tus ofrendas al altar, y allí recuerdas que tu hermano (hermana) tiene algo en tu contra, deja tu ofrenda en el altar, ve primero y reconcíliate con (ellos) y luego ven y ofrece tu regalo”.
Reflexión
Los cristianos estamos llamados a una forma diferente de vivir, en nuestras relaciones entre nosotros y luego con el mundo. Buscamos la reconciliación donde hay ira y alienación. Controlamos nuestros deseos a pesar del mundo licencioso que nos rodea. Somos fieles unos a otros y, por lo tanto, hacemos promesas y las cumplimos.
Entonces, nos preguntamos
Al venir a la iglesia hoy, ¿tengo alguna amargura contra alguien? ¿Qué puedo hacer para reconciliarme con ellos?
