Reflect:
I have been talking about making resolutions for the new year, my proposal now is to combine them with your Lenten resolutions. Lent is a time to convert our hearts, a 180 º turn from the ways contrary to the Gospel.
Act:
The new resolutions I am inviting you to undertake run at two levels: The first level is the personal level. Make your best effort to become, this year, the best edition of yourself. Which changes in your spiritual and moral life should you undertake to achieve this goal? An example: Would you take seriously Jesus’ invitation to join him in his praise to his Father every Sunday at Mass?
The second is the community level. Make your best effort to become, this year, the best Church member that you possible can. How are you going to improve your engagement with your parish and with the Diocese of St. Peters-burg? Examples: You may offer yourself as a volunteer to help in the various needed areas of the church. You might increase your financial support to the parish and/or to the diocese.

Reflexionar:
He estado hablando de hacer propósitos para este año nuevo, mi propuesta ahora es combinarlos con los propósitos de Cuaresma. La Cuaresma es un tiempo para convertir nuestros corazones, un giro de 180º de los caminos contrari-os al Evangelio.
Actuar:
Los nuevos propósitos que les invito a emprender van a dos niveles: El primer nivel es el nivel personal. Haz tu mejor esfuerzo por convertirte, este año, en la mejor edición de ti mismo. ¿Qué cambios en tu vida espiritual y moral deberías emprender para lograr este objetivo? Un ejemplo: ¿Tomarías en serio la invitación de Jesús a unirse a él en su alabanza al Padre todos los domingos en la Misa?
El segundo es el nivel comunitario. Haz tu mejor esfuerzo por llegar a ser, este año, en el mejor miembro de la Iglesia que puedas. ¿Cómo vas a mejorar tu compromiso con tu parroquia y con la Diócesis de San Petersburgo? Ejemplos: Puedes ofrecerte como voluntario para ayudar en las diversas áreas que necesita la iglesia. Puedes aumentar tu apoyo financiero a la parroquia y/o a la diócesis.
