At that time, Jesus was led by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil for forty days and forty nights.
Reflection
During Lent we can look at death, or anything that threatens our vocation to follow God, in the face and not be afraid; because Jesus has preceded us to the place of temptation, the wilderness, and He can help us through our own deserts, the places where, like the Israelites, we have strayed from the path.

What is the path I need to return to be a more faithful follower of Jesus?
What distracts me and helps me return to the Lord’s way?

En ese momento, Jesús fue guiado por el Espíritu al desierto para ser tentado por el diablo durante cuarenta días y cuarenta noches.
Reflexión
Durante la Cuaresma podemos mirar a la muerte, o cualquier cosa que amenace nuestra vocación a seguir a Dios, a la cara y no tener miedo; porque Jesús nos ha precedido al lugar de la tentación, el desierto, y puede ayudarnos a atravesar nuestros propios desiertos, los lugares donde, como los israelitas, nos hemos desviado del camino.

¿Cuál es el camino que necesito volver para ser un seguidor más fiel de Jesús?
¿Qué me distrae y qué me ayuda a regresar al camino del Señor?
