From today’s Gospel reading
When Jesus saw the lepers, he said, “Go show yourselves to the priests”. As they were going, they were cleansed.
Reflection
The lepers’ cure came as they traveled. Perhaps we too realize that the healings we need, the physical, emotional, and spiritual ones, don’t happen all at once, but occur as we travel, step by step, through life. Isn’t that the way most of us come to wholeness – step by step-with the help of trusted family, friends, counselors, teachers, etc. who help us experience cleansing and renewal? Do we “realize”, as the cred leper did, that it is Jesus who is the source of our healing?
So, we ask ourselves
Can I name some of the healings that have happened in my life through faith?
How have I returned thanks to God for those healings?

De la lectura del Evangelio de hoy
Cuando Jesús vio a los leprosos, dijo: “Vayan y muéstrense a los sacerdotes”. A medida que avanzaban, quedaron limpios.
Reflexión
La cura de los leprosos llegó mientras viajaban. Tal vez nosotros también nos damos cuenta de que las curaciones que necesitamos, las físicas, emocionales y espirituales, no ocurren todas a la vez, sino que ocurren a medida que viajamos, paso a paso, a través de la vida. ¿No es esa la forma en que la mayoría de nosotros llegamos a la plenitud, paso a paso, con la ayuda de familiares de confianza, amigos, consejeros, maestros, etc. que nos ayudan a experimentar la limpieza y la renovación? ¿Nos “damos cuenta”, como lo hizo el leproso, de que es Jesús quien es la fuente de nuestra curación?
Entonces, nos preguntamos
¿Puedo nombrar algunas de las curaciones que han sucedido en mi vida a través de la fe?
¿Cómo he respondido a Dios por esas curaciones?
